Writing is my passion but I am not a journalist, neither am I a preacher. Most of the blog posts are opinions. There are good and bad things going on in the world and I speak my mind. I am a thinker and I like to be a pragmatist. I don’t write fantasies, I write about life and stand by what I write. I would not tell you something I do not believe in myself. Yes I believe that one day Africa will be free from failed leadership and western world economic burdens. Free from false prophets and real Satans. I believe in the whole world because I believe in the people. I believe in our children and their ability to steer the world when we are long gone and perished. I also believe that they would look back at our misfortunes and say “That’s messed up” and go about their business. Because they too will face difficulties of their time just like my generation is facing ours, different from our forefathers. Each generation will find out that the problems are either easy to make or hard to solve.
Before I write an article I do the necessary research and double check the facts (Btw if you see an error let me know, I will appreciate that). I am not the person to do things half way, therefore if I am going to do something I always give my all. It is just the person I am I guess. Sometimes I like to take a step back and reflect and if necessary change things or start over. I said sometimes, but I do it very often. I doubt a lot. I guess I am a doubter.
Often times I ask myself what I should write about. So many things are going on in the world. Shall I write about teenage mothers, foul politicians or earthquakes? Shall I address the Arab Revolution, freedom fighters or individual achievements? To be fair with you I can write everything but I cannot write about everything. I simply do not have the time. There are too many things going on in my life right now, if I choose to write about everything that comes before me I would disappoint you.
Life is short and I am trying to get out twice the time that is giving me by working hard and getting the job done. I have two children with my woman and I have the Soul Rebel Movement, both consume a lot of time and are dear to my heart. I have the music and I have my personal interests like reading, educating myself and being by myself. Also I spend time modest chilling with relatives and close friends whenever I find the time. Each day I am trying to make the most out of my life by doing the things I like.
But above all and most importantly I am optimistic when I write. I am not a doom writer. I highlight the world as I see it and experience it. I am not here to ignore the hardship and write about success or the other way around. I believe as people, together, we can do better for the world but I also see lots of greatness which makes my heart smiles. You can count on the Soul Rebel Movement as long as there’s a reason for us to protest and fight against injustice. Our voice will be heard so the people who need their voice to be heard can be heard. This is our aim, our goal and this is what I write about. I write about life and you will hear from the Soul Rebel Movement, always!
