On December 17th there was a shootout near Amsterdam central station in Hip-Hop Cafe De Duivel, leaving two people wounded. The city mayor immediately shut down the place. There´s no doubt that the people responsible for this irresponsible act should be punished. However, it wasn’t a regular violent place. It was my favorite spot in the city. A place where the people that appreciate good music and good vibes meet up and chill, network, flirt, inspire, get inspired last but not least, get intoxicated! Today, we will assemble at the site to show our support to the owners and employees who are out of work. We are with you! Mr. Mayor, give us back Cafe de Duivel. Open Up!
