Peace to you brother, peace to you sister<\/b><\/p>\n

Everyday I count my blessings<\/div>\n
How did yesterday go?<\/div>\n
Seems to be the appropriate question<\/div>\n
But times is off the essence<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
I got something to make up to God<\/div>\n
Before I leave <\/div>\n
Only those who know my heart,<\/div>\n
Know why I weep<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Peace to you brother, peace to you sister<\/i><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Across the street there lives a couple<\/div>\n
They need to live and let live<\/div>\n
Everyday there’s trouble<\/div>\n
When the kids are at sleep<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Just one of those nights<\/div>\n
Screaming and kicking, verbal war<\/div>\n
Someone forgot to switch off the lights<\/div>\n
The kids heard it all<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Peace to you brother, peace to you sister<\/i><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
My aunt loves God more than you do<\/div>\n
Day by day, she prays and prays<\/div>\n
For the devil\u2019s downfall<\/div>\n
That means me and you too<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
It’s hard to find mercy<\/div>\n
At the hands of a born again<\/div>\n
They go to church each Sunday<\/div>\n
But will never say a word to an old friend<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Peace to you brother, peace to you sister.<\/i><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
There are white brothers and sisters<\/div>\n
Who really care about our well being<\/div>\n
They too are victims<\/div>\n
Of the greed of another human being<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
They pack their bags and leave for Africa<\/div>\n
They mean well for our freedom<\/div>\n
Every time I see them<\/div>\n
I greet them with a laughter<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Peace to you brother, peace to you sister.<\/i><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
There’s only so much a community can take<\/div>\n
This morning another brother died<\/div>\n
Where do we draw the line?<\/div>\n
Or is it too late?<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
If you have a daughter or son<\/div>\n
I know you want the best for your children<\/div>\n
A change will come,<\/div>\n
No matter who is doing the fighting.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
I wish for you nothing but greatness<\/div>\n
Prosperity and fortitude<\/div>\n
I wish for mental strength<\/div>\n
A new way of thinking and a new attitude<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
You are great, you are the best<\/div>\n
You are more than sport and entertainment<\/div>\n
You are the face on the Pyramid<\/div>\n
I weep when you settle for less<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
